It seems like a pretty good bang for the buck, however, I would still opt for more power from the 750 plus it says in that article that the 750 has more aluminum where as the 450 uses heavier metal and I am assuming that with you doing mountain riding lighter weight would be better especially when you are off keel on some inclines. But that is just my opinion, either way I hope whatever you get you will enjoy the hell out of it.

If the 450 will suit your needs go for it,im sure you will be happy with it,the big bore quads are nice even if you dont need the extra hp,400-500 quads suits my needs fine,i cant use what hp my vinson has anyway, its good on gas consumption and for plowing but the power is just not needed on the trails i ride.I ride my little quadrunner 250 with my buds on grizzleys,750 kingquads 500 arctic cats, sure they can smoke me but when they are heading for fuel refill i just wait and sip coffee.lol.Go with what will best suit your needs, look into the future for futher uses for the quad then decide.

I need and want the 750 axi..But the 450 still seems like a great Deal for the price difference. Zuki I can ride my 300 honda 7 hours hard I give it heck and only use 2 inches of gas its amazing. Hence the 750 axi is geared High to conserve fuel and tame the beast a bit..So the alum vs steel is how Suzuki is shaving the weight and making the 750 axi lighter than the 450 axi. I read somewhere that suzuki beefed up the frame for the newer 750 vs 700 . The article is old but I found it Intresting!!
Tubby the wait for a new quad is killing me..he he

yep. I really like the engine braking part. I need to find a 450 axi to test ride out on the trail. Seems like a big frame for a 450 But seems like the 450axi is built with this in mind..:rating07:

That and it is cool that the 700 uses the same frame as this but they use aluminum on the spindles and wheels to stay within the 600lb weight limits, I wonder since the only thing that changes it from 700 to 750, should be bore and stroke, if they are using the same frame for it as well? That would be nice to have same weight and size frame but just more power. Nice read and find Liquid.

Thanks ,Yea i been doing more research:icon_twisted:
Driving my brain nuts. I seen over on nyroc that a guy posted if the 450 diff are the same as the 750 diff looks like there the same almost Identical except for engine , spindles, wheels. Seems like the 750 axi drive train would be beefed up.. But what gives the seat height is 33.4" and ground clearance 10.2" on 450 axi.. the 750 axi is seat height 34.6" and ground clearance 10.6"
curb weight 450 axi 672lbs vs 750 axi 666lbs this is 2009 specs..humm not sure why zuki used steel parts vs aluminum why not lighten the 450 axi for the smaller engine..?? Watching the vids of the 450 axi its strong and rips pretty good but slower on top end..
